Icons of the 80s kick start Warrington Festival

VIDEO: POP icons of the 80s T’Pau, Go West an d Nick Kershaw helped kick start the second annual Warrington Festival.

Performing in front of a crowd of more than 2,000 the pop icons rolled back the years to launch the festival of music, sport, entertainment and culture.

Organised by Culture Warrington, LiveWire and various other partners, the event continues at Bank Park next to the town hall, from 12 noon today, featuring various local and regional bands, followed by a Viola Beach tribute and headline act Starsailor.

Tickets are still available on the gate priced just £10.
