Taster week for electrical training courses

A FREE taster week at electrical training company Trade Skills 4U’s centre in Birchwood is being held from October 10.

The event gives individuals the opportunity to get a feel for the electrical industry and the training they could expect on an apprenticeship or electrical training course.

With the rise in university tuition fees and a growing shortage of skilled electricians, there’s no better time to consider an apprenticeship or training in the electrical field.

Signing up to any apprenticeship or educational course can be a difficult decision if you’re unsure on what career path to take or you’re at a crossroads in your current job.

That’s why Trade Skills 4U are offering the opportunity to register for a free apprenticeship taster week for 16-21 year olds.

Carl Bennett, Managing Director at Trade Skills 4U said: “We believe apprenticeships are extremely beneficial to those who wish to enter the electrical trade and potential employers.

“We also understand that studying is a long term commitment. That is why we want people to make sure they are making the right decision by offering the free taster week.”

The course will run Monday – Friday at the new training centre in Birchwood, Warrington.

The week will involve lots of practical work giving students the opportunity to try their hands at some basic electrical installation and some theory work.

Students will also be given background information to electrical contracting, advised on the different ways to enter the industry and given a brief overview of electrical science.

At the end of the week the individuals should have a clearer idea of whether or not a career in electrics is for them.

For more information on the taster week contact the sales on: 01293 529 777. Places are available to those aged between 16 – 21 years old. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
