BREAKING NEWS – Police are advising motorists to avoid the Common Lane, Lodge Drive area of Culcheth, Warrington, following a two vehicle collision.
Two vehicles have been involved in a collision in Lodge Drive, near the junction of Common Lane and emergency services are currently at the scene and the road has been closed to traffic.
Police said two cars and a pedestrian were involved, a silver Kia and a silver Honda Civic. The pedestrian was a man in his 70s who had been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
One of the drivers, a woman, had also been taken to hospital.
The road was closed at the junction of Common Lane, Lodge Drive and Warrington Road.
