Hunt for missing pet hawk

MEMBERS of the public are being urged to help find a pet Harris Hawk which has gone missing in the Warrington area.

The Harris Hawk named Tyson belongs to local youngster Connor Hayes and has been missing since last Monday and was last seen at the back of Eastford Road, Lower Walton, in a tree near the canal.

If spotted please call 07843 228132 or the independent Bird register on 0161 7905613.

Although a number of sightings have already been reported on social media, including near Priestley College, there is an abundance ofd birds of prey in the wild int he Warrington area.

This hawk is wearing a leg bell with a distinctive sound and also wearing leather anklets and jesses.
