POLICE have reassured members of the public they were not at risk after armed officers were reported in the Padgate area of Warrington last night.
Cheshire police have today confirmed that a man was arrested for affray in the Padgate area off Hilden Road at around 7pm – but are unable to release any further details at this stage as investigations are ongoing.
The incident sparked concern on social media after armed officers were reported in the Sutton Trust area of Padgate.
