Woman overcome by smoke in Frodsham shop fire

A WOMAN was treated for the effects of smoke after fire broke out at a shop in Church Street, Frodsham, today.
The blaze involved a refrigerator and fire crews from Widnes and Runcorn were called to deal with the incident, shortly after 9am.
The fire was out by the time they reached the scene but crews carried out an investigation of the premises to ensure they were safe.
The ambulance service was also present – and treated one woman for smoke inhalation.
