A MAN is in custody at Warrington after being arrested in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of possessing a knife.
The man was arrested at about 2am in Liverpool Road after being seen to throw something into a nearby garden when he was approached by police officers.
A search of the garden revealed the presence of a knife with a blade approximately four inches long.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.
