A collision on the M56 westbound carriageway near Warrington caused lengthy delays during rush hour traffic this evening.
The incident was between Junctions 9 and 10, in the Appleton Thorn area, and affected traffic in the Lymm and Stretton areas.
One lane was closed causing slow moving traffic.
