WARRINGTON archer John Stubbs is celebrating winning two medals representing Great Britain in the Czech republic at the Para-Archery World Ranking event.
John won a gold medal as part of Great Britain’s Men’s Open Compound team alongside Michael Hall and Nathan McQueen at the Czech Target Para-Archery World Ranking Event.
Opponents Italy had taken the match to a 224-all draw, but the trio landed a 28 to Italy’s 27 in the shoot off in the final.
John added a second medal to his collection by picking up the compound mixed team bronze alongside Jodie Grinham, against Sweden with a 146-144 victory.
