WARRINGTON Town are delighted to announce contract extensions for three of their title winning team, with skipper Ciaran Kilheeney, vice-captain Jay McCarten and goalkeeper Karl Wills all agreeing new terms for the 2016-17 season.

All three players featured in the Evo-Stik Division One North team of the year last season with Kilheeney also topping the goal scoring charts with more than 40.

Chairman Toby Macormac said: “All three players played a big part in our title success and we are delighted they have agreed new terms for the forthcoming season.

“They are part of the backbone of the team and a key part of our future plans as we look to push for the play-offs next season.”

McCarten, who joined Warrington in 2012 is now the longest serving player at the club following the departure of Chris Gahgan to Colywn Bay.
