Police helicopter brought in to tackle off road bikers

1

THE Police helicopter has been patrolling the skies over Warrington today in a bid to locate off-road scrambler bikers who have been causing a nuisance in various parts of the town.

Police have been receiving reports of problems in the Black Bear Park area at Latchford,  Birchwood and Rixton.

Members of the public are being asked to call 101 if they become aware of a problem relating to off road scrambling bikes in their area. A descrpiton of the bikes and people using them would also be useful.

Police say the helicopter will be brought in during the summer months to tackle the growing problem.
