POLICE at Warrington are hunting two men who forced their way into a house in the town, threatened the family with a weapon and made off with valuables.
The robbery was in Lewis Avenue, Dallam shortly before midnight last night.
Police say the occupants of the house were left badly shaken.
The two men spoke with local accents and were wearing dark clothing.
A police spokesperson said: “Thankfully, no-one was injured, but the victims have been left badly shaken by their ordeal.
“We are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or who has any information about who was responsible, to contact us.
