Lymm Duck race helps raise over £6,000 for good causes

THE annual Lymm Duck Race organised by Lymm and District Round Table was once again a huge success, attracting thousands of people into the village and helping raise over £6,000 for local good causes.

Sponsored by the Co-op food stores once again the Easter Monday event included children’s entertainment and stalls, and an ‘Easter Food Fest’ on Henry Street car park.

The first duck over the finshing line in a record time of under 10 minutes was number 909 winning £100. Number 750 was second and 803 third.

The first Super Duck over the line was sponored by Lymm Shutters and Blinds and the first corporate duck was sponsored by Pure Beauty.
