Knifeman in raid on shop

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery at a shop in Warrington.
At around 7.35pm on 11 February 2016, a man entered McColls in Concorde Place, Warrington and demanded staff opened the till, threatening them with a knife.
DC Sean Innes said: “Although the two members of staff were left shocked by their ordeal, they were not injured. We are carrying out a number of lines of enquiry and I would urge anyone with information to contact me so that I can progress with my enquiries.”
The offender is described as 16 to 20 years old, about 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build. He has a local accent and was wearing a black jacket with a hood, black gloves and red trainers with black zig zags on them.
