Police appeal after town centre assault victim suffers serious facial injuries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Warrington town centre during the early hours of last Saturday morning which left a 24-year-old man with serious facial injuries.

The incident occurred on Saturday, November 28 around 1am at Level Bar, in Rylands Street.

Two men entered the bar where they struck up a conversation with four unknown men. One of these four men punched the victim once to the left side of his face knocking him to the floor where he was also kicked in the stomach.

The victim, a 24-year old man from Pembrokeshire received serious facial injuries.

The offender is described as white, in his mid-20s, around 6ft 4ins tall, of slim build with facial stubble. He had short dark spikey hair and was wearing a white long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up.
