Woman robbed walking home at Great Sankey

POLICE are appealing for information after a young woman was robbed of her purse and phone at Great Sankey, Warrington, as she was walking home during the early hours of today (Sunday).

The robbery occured at approximately 5:10am as she was walking along Liverpool Road,  near to Elmsett Close when she was approached by a male described as White, 5’ 10” tall, slim build, dark beard, wearing a black water proof looking track suit with his hood up and black trainers.

He grabbed her bag and took her purse and iphone before running off towards the old Sankey Police Station.

Any one with information that can assist Police please contact 101, quoting incident 228 of 29/11/2015.
