VIDEO: WARRINGTON town centre was lit up with an intergalactic theme for this year’s Christmas laser show.
In the presence of Dr Who and the Daleks and various charcters from Star Wars, light patterns illuminated the skyline above Warrington’s Guardians at Market Gate.
The rain thankfully relented in time for the stunning light display, which wasd funded by Warrington Borough Council and delivered by Culture Warrington, and set to a soundtrack of
battling intergalactic spaceships and the eerie unexplainable sounds of space.
The event was part of Warrington Market’s sci-fi Christmas- a traditional Christmas market with an intergalactic twist.
The event was part of a multitude of Christmas events across Warrington being provided by the council and Culture Warrington. Other stand-out events to follow include the Lantern Parade,
Warrington Christmas Markets and Parr Hall’s pantomime Dick Whittington.
