Councillor hits out over fly-tipping and dog fouling

A WARRINGTON councillor has hit out over fly-tipping and dog fouling on a residential estate.
Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition councillor Kevin Bennett came across the problem when canvassing in Quebec Close and Cabul Close.
He was approached by residents sick and tired of the problem.
Cllr Bennett said: “I am asking Golden Gates Housing Trust to keep their estates in Fairfield and Howley in a decent condition as I feel they are being neglected.
“They are supposed to be responsible landlords. They own these estates and therefore they should be kept in a reasonable condition both inside and out.
“I would like them to organise a street clean for this estate.”

  1. It’s a problem everywhere and there’s always crap dumped in the backs around Lower Walton, usually by the householders themselves I hasten to add. Anything metal is eventually taken by the scrap men so I can understand that being put out but they always come round on bin day so no need for things to be left out all week. Other stuff eventually goes too presumably when the householders decide that yes they will finally take it to the tip.
Surely they could keep it in their OWN gardens and yards though until that time !! As for dog fouling well the amount of dog poop round here is getting ridiculous and is disgusting !! Oh and all bins left out 24/7 too as far as the eye can see which looks a right mess. Rant over……
