FRODSHAM’S famous Christmas Festival will kick-start the festive season in the town this Saturday.
Shops will stay open late, there will be a street parade including real live reindeer, the town’s Christmas lights will be switched on, there will be live music and Santa will be in his grotto.
Fairground rides will be operating at The Bear’s Paw.
In addition, there will be a food and craft market in Castle Park and a festival market at Frodsham Railway Station car park.
The day starts at 12 noon, with the parade from Church Street to Castle Park at 6.30pm immediately following the lights switch-on. The markets – and many shops – will stay open until 8pm.
