Spelling contest sparks fierce rivalry

YEAR 7 pupils at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School held an inter-form spelling competition.
They had already completed a spelling test in form time and the top two from each group were chosen to compete against each other in the final in front of the whole year group.
The words were read out and pupils had just 10 seconds to write down the correct spelling.
There was fierce competition between the final three but Caitlin Rae took the trophy – year had been designed by Year 7 pupils earlier in the term.
Second was Elle Cann and third Faye Bannon.
