WARRINGTON Town have appointed former Everton and Plymouth Argyle professional Nick Chadwick as manager of their Academy team.

Chadwick is currently Academy Coach for Blackburn Rovers U15’s and will combine that part time role with Warrington’s Academy.

With 13 years in the professional game as a player Nick has held his UEFA B for five years and is currently studying his UEFA A licence and has coached under David Moyes and Tony Pulis to name a few.

Chairman Toby Macormac said: “Nick is good acquisition for us and will carry out the vision of strengthening our Academy and building for the future.

Chadwick started his playing career at Everton, scoring 48 goals in 75 appearances in his first three seasons in the junior ranks.

He made his senior debut against Crystal Palace at the age of 18, and made his Premier League debut in 2001.

He was highly regarded at Everton and tipped for a big future in the game but ultimately failed to secure a regular first team place at Goodison Park making 14 first team appearances, with three goals.

He went on to play for various clubs adding himself to the famed list of playing in every division down to the Conference which included two spells at Plymouth Argyle.
