WARRINGTON Town have strengthened their striking options with the signing off experienced centre forward Ben Deegan from Trafford FC.

Deegan aged 27, played up front with Town’s Ciaran Kilheeney at Droylsden last season, scoring 62 goals between them!

Deegan started his career at Altrincham and has also played at FC United, Ashton Town and Nantwich.

Warrington Chairman Toby Macormac said: “Ben will bring good experience to the club and was a player we tried to sign towards the end of last season.

“This will now give us great attacking options up front to add further quality to our strikeforce.”

Deegan will travel with the squad for today’s game away at Scarborough.
