Police appeal after armed robbery

POLICE today issued an appeal for information from the public following an armed robbery at Warrington on Sunday, August 30.
The raid was at a convenience store on Gough Road, Orford, at about 8pm.
An unknown man entered the shop and approached the checkout assist and threatened her with a sharp metal object.
He demanded that she handed over all the money from the till.
After receiving a quantity of cash the man then fled the store and made off on a bicycle down Gough Avenue.
The offender is described as about 20-25 years old, of slim build and approximately 5ft 7inches tall.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a black coat with a dark coloured hooded top underneath, dark coloured jogging pants and dark coloured Nike trainers.
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 824 of 30/08/15. Alternatively information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
