Town manager Shaun Reid in “good form”

WARRINGTON Town manager Shaun Reid is said to be in “good form” after being taken ill towards the end of Warrington Town’s 2-1 victory away at Trafford.

The manager was taken to Salford Royal Hospital by ambulance after the game, where it was confirmed he suffered a burst vessel in the upper neck.

But he was soon sitting up in bed cracking jokes with club chairman Toby Macormac.

Macormac said: “He’s in good form and a CT scan has come back clear but he will be staying in over night for routine observations which is standard procedure after an incident like this.

“Everyone at the club wish him a speedy recovery.”
