Police appeal after man sustains serious injuries in car park

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident in a Warrington car park which has left a 28-year-old man in hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

The incident is believed to have taken place at approximately 8.00pm on Friday August 21, in the car park area of Greenings Court, Warrington.

As a result of the incident a 28-year-old man, from Warrington, sustained serious injuries; he is currently in a stable condition at Aintree Hospital.

Detective Sergeant Darren Wright said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the local area at the time of this incident and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 870 of 21/08/2015.
