Limited places left for new Wire Academy

THERE are still limited places left in the brand new Warrington Town Academy for this forthcoming season.

Eighteen students have signed up so far with just two places available taking the squad to 20.

The new Academy team is part of the NPL Football Academy where current year 11 or year 12 students will STUDY for a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport for two years at the football club with their teammates, TRAIN every day with an UEFA qualified coach and PLAY for the Wire in the NPL Football Academy League against 10 other Evo-Stik NPL clubs at their main grounds and in the prestigious and historic FA Youth Cup.

Warrington have been drawn at home to the winners of AFC Liverpool or Cheadle Town.

For anyone wishing to register their interest, please visit www.nplfa.co.uk/register.php and fill out your details. Students will need to be aged 16 or 17 on August 31st 2015, have 4/5 GCSE’s at A*-C grades and to have played football at junior level minimum.

This is a unique football and education programme and the only one in the UK to be sanctioned by the FA. If you wish to have a career in Sport in areas such as a physiotherapy, PE teacher, marketing, coaching, fitness, business and play at the highest level you can, this course is ideal for anyone ambitious enough to enrol.

Recently the NPL Football Academy struck a unique partnership with Soccer Chance USA who are the UK arm of Global Premier Soccer, one of the largest and most successful sports scholarship organisation in the world who run the football operations for Bayern Munich in the USA. With six NPLFA students making their first team debut in the Evo-Stik League at 16/17 years of age last season, there are genuine pathways from the Warrington Town Academy both in education and football for anyone who wants to activate their ambition and join.
