Warrington Town impress again

WARRINGTON Town continued their pre-season with another impressive performance – this time defeating Welsh Premier outfit Gap Connah’s Quay 2-1.

Ciaran Kilheeney was on target again, finishing off after the keeper saved one on one with Ben Wharton.

The second goal came from a trialist as Warrington led 2-0 at the break.

Once again manager Shaun Reid made nuermous changes in the second half to give other players a run out before the season kicks off away at Bamber Bridge next Saturday.

Warrington have one more pre-season game when they host another Welsh premier team, Bala, at the Winners Recruitment Stadium on Monday, kick off 7.45pm.
