DEPUTY leader of the council Mike Hannon has hit out at irresponsible dog owners after finding a bag of dog poop left hanging on railings next to where children play at Orford, Warrington.
An angry Cllr Hannon, who represents the Orford area on the borough council said: ” I can’t believe these irresponsible, lazy dogs owner can’t take their dog’s mess home with them to dispose of it properly.
“Instead they hang it on fences which could cause extreme medical harm to very young inquisitive children. I have also seen these bags being thrown into trees or people just not picking it up at all.
“It is an absolute disgrace.”
Cllr Hannon said one dog owner said bins should be on the field but he responded – “No take it home!”
