COMMUNITY care village Belong Warrington will be hosting the first of a series of monthly Talk Dementia drop-in sessions on Friday, August 28 from 2-4pm.
Free to attend, the regular sessions offer members of the public a chance to access information, dementia support and services, discuss caring issues and gain advice from mental health professionals.
The Talk Dementia sessions are hosted by Admiral Nurse Caroline Clifton, who works at Belong Warrington in partnership with Dementia UK, and Belong Dementia Champion, Laura Barlow.
Admiral Nurses are mental health nurses that specialise in dementia, seeking to improve the quality of life for people affected by the condition.
The next Talk Dementia session will be on Friday, September 25 from 2-4pm at the Belong Warrington village in Loushers Lane.
