Man injured in early hours burglary

A MAN suffered an injury to his arm when he confronted two men who had broken into his flat at Warrington in the early hours of the morning
The 21-year-old required hospital treatment to his left forearm as a result of the incident.
Police are today appealing for information following the aggravated burglary at a flat in Farrell Street.
The incident took place shortly before 1am on Saturday (July 11) when the occupants awoke to find two men in the flat.
The offenders are believed to have entered via an insecure patio door and left by the same door, running into alleyway at the rear of the houses on Villars Street.
The first offender is described as approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall, stocky and was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava. The second offender was approximately 5 ft 6 inches tall, of slim build and was also wearing a balaclava.
