Double success for Warrington engineering firm

WARRINGTON-based engineering business Boulting Group has achieved double accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
The second award went to Boulting Environmental Services Ltd (BES), part of the Boulting Group, which was also accredited.
Employing more than 1,000 people, Boulting Group is mainly involved in the engineering construction sector, specialising in the pharmaceutical, nuclear, chemical/petrochemical, oil and gas and water and utilities industries and with a £100million turnover.
BES excels in the design and construction of cleanrooms, laboratories and other sophisticated environments, providing a full range of services from front-end design and consultancy through to construction, commissioning and validation.
Mike Groarke, chief executive officer of Boulting Group said: “We take great pride in our health and safety record and are determined to lead the industry in this area. Boulting Group has a considerable reputation for health and safety having won 21 consecutive Golds at the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards and Safecontractor accreditation will enhance the company’s ability to attract new contracts.
Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.
