WHETHER it’s a wedding dress, Wimbledon-inspired tennis outfit or even the King himself, wear white and finish bright in the newest fundraiser for St. Rocco’s.

Anything goes at the 3km Colour Run, where you’ll find yourself splattered with powdered paint as you run or walk your way around Walton Hall and Gardens.

The event takes place at 3pm on August 31 and to mark its 30th anniversary, the Hospice is encouraging participants to raise a minimum £30 sponsorship to help continue its care.

Events Fundraising Manager Lauren Tilston, who is organising the Colour Run for St. Rocco’s, said: “Fancy dress is completely optional, but this is going to be a really fun event, suitable for the whole family, that raises essential funds for the Hospice at the same time. St. Rocco’s encourages its patients to live life to the full, and this is a happy, positive way of celebrating life and ending the summer on a high.”

The Colour Run is sponsored by Livewire, with additional support from McDonalds, Lloyds bank and Walker Begley . Cheryl Siddall, Business Development Director at LiveWire said:

“LiveWire are proud to once again support the fundraising efforts of St Rocco’s. The Colour Run is set to be a fun event which the whole family can take part in”.

Registration is £12 for adults, £8 for under 16s and £35 for a family of four with a sponsorship request of £30 per person. For more information, or to register, visit www.stroccos.org.uk
