A CAT that got stuck on the roof of a house was rescued by a fire crew from Warrington.
The rescue operation was in Beamish Close, Stretton and the frightened animal, which had managed to get onto the roof of the two-storey property, could not get down.
The RSPCA were called to the scene and, in turn, enlisted the help of the fire brigade.
A firefighte, using height safety equipment, used a seven metre ladder to reach the cat and carry it to safety.
