Fridge blamed for kitchen blaze

A KITCHEN fire at a house in Warrington is believed to have been caused by a fault on a refrigerator.
The blaze was at a property in Old Hall Close, Walton earlier today.
Fire crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath went to the scene and the blaze was tackled with a hose reel jet.
A thermal imaging camera was also used to make sure the blaze had not spread. There were no reports of injuries.
In another incident, a fire engine from Warrington went to Central Avenue where a bush was on fire.  A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze, which was believed to have been started deliberately.
