Wolves’ skipper set to miss trip to Salford

WARRINGTON Wolves will be without skipper Joel Monaghan when they travel to the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday night to take on the Salford Red Devils, 8pm.
Monaghan picked up a hip flexor strain in the cup tie last week so isn’t available for selection this week, however, head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith has Stefan Ratchford and Daryl Clark back in the mix.
Hooker Brad Dwyer remains in the squad following the departure of Micky Higham to Leigh.
The Wolves are currently in fifth spot with Salford in eleventh.
The two sides met at The Halliwell Jones Stadium back in Round 1, a fixture the Wolves won 22-8.
