Bridgewater Singers at Town Hall

THE Bridgewater Singers will be performing at the Warrington Competition for Young Musicians at the Town Hall on Thursday (May 23).
The group, formerly known as Consort, are celebrating their 25th anniversary year, having started life as a small group of eight voices providing music for the 800th anniversary of St Wilfrid’s in Grappenhall.
Under the music direction of Mark Bradley, the Bridgewater Singers perform regularly in Lymm and Warrington, and further afield in Cheshire and Merseyside. They are also appearing at the Lymm and Stockton Heath festivals, Carols at Arley Hall and summer concerts at Tabley House.
Run by Warrington Arts Council Initiative for the Development of Music, the Warrington Competition for Young Musicians promotes standards of excellence for young musicians, and enables each person to receive individual tuition and a personal appraisal of their performance.
Tickets for the event cost £11 and are available by calling 01925 265146.
