Young Tories in recruitment drive

YOUNG Conservatives in Warrington have launched a recruitment drive.
Warrington Conservative Future (WCF) represents young Conservatives from across the town and holds monthly social events along with regular campaigning and community action.
Highlights last year included celebrating Student Volunteering Week, stewarding at the 21st Disability Awareness Day, supporting John Dwyer’s successful campaign to become Cheshire’s first elected Police and Crime Commissioner, fundraising for the Poppy Appeal and adopting Brainwave as its charity of the year.
WCF chairman Jonathan Levy said: “In the last year we have continued to grow in activity and members. More and more young people are getting involved and playing their part in our success.
“The fact that a number of members stood for borough and parish council in 2012 and played key roles in campaigns and social action projects not only in Warrington, but across the North West, is proof of the great opportunities available.
“We’re proud to be the town’s largest and most active political youth group and have so much planned for 2013. It will be our most exciting year yet so don’t delay, join today!”
