Brakes bring jobs boost to Omega

0

THE first major occupier to the ‘Omega North’ business park in Warrington has been confirmed as food supplier Brakes and is expected to create hundreds of new jobs.
Brakes will take nearly a quarter of Omega North with a pre-let of 200,000 sq ft of logistics space on the 80-acre developable part of the 575-acre, £1bn mixed-use development site.
It is the first confirmed development on Omega Warrington, a joint venture between Miller Developments and KUC Properties, in partnership with The Homes and Communities Agency and supported by Warrington Borough Council.
Works to facilitate the new warehouse have already started, including a £7m access road and associated services which will open up Omega North for further industrial occupiers.
