Beauty students turn back the clock

DIAMOND Jubilee celebrations came early to Warrington when a local tearoom was taken over by a fashion label for a glamorous vintage photo shoot.
Room31.co.uk, an online fashion retailer based in Risley, held the shoot at the Old Victorian Tea Rooms in Glazebury.
Beauty students from Wigan and Leigh College were also drafted in to give the models sixties-inspired hair and make up to complete the retro look.
The shoot combined the quirky antique interior of the newly refurbished tea rooms with this season’s “vintage glamour” fashion trend.
Ruth Thomas, the owner of Room31.co.uk, is a firm believer of working in the local community and when the need for a vintage, jubilee inspired photo shoot came about she instantly thought of the Old Victorian Tea Rooms in Glazebury.
Ruth said: “Mark Hall, the new owner of Hall’s Old Victorian Tea Rooms of Glazebury was kind enough to let us hold the photoshoot in the newly refurbished tea rooms. We were delighted with the results. The location was just perfect for the theme we had in mind.
“The beauty students were professional, enthusiastic and willing to learn and take direction. We will definitely be looking forward to working with them again in the future.”
