We will give you a list of guests who have donated towards your honeymoon before your wedding so the thank you cards can be sent. Take some time when planning your wedding in the UK, and think if it is a suitable time for taking your honeymoon. If you want to get married abroad or plan your honeymoon, call in or if you can’t get in during working hours, ring and we will arrange a time to suit you!
For those of you who have elderly grandparents to consider; did you know you can get married in Jersey? This would be an ideal location and travelling time is minimal. For the romantics among you Italy fits the bill. Why not get married on the stunning Amalfi coast. Cyprus is another popular destination, here you can get married in the hotel grounds or some of the hotels have a little chapel. Alternatively the town hall in Peyia is a beautiful setting. For something totally different you could choose a catamaran for your ceremony. Minimum period of residency in Cyprus is between 3 – 5 days depending on whether a civil or religious wedding has been arranged.
Greek Islands are often a popular choice i.e. Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Kefalonia, Zante, Santorini or if you have seen Mama Mia why not chose Skiathos. However, you need to be on one of these islands for 8 days prior to the ceremony.
If you want to travel further afield for your wedding you need to take the weather into consideration – have you chosen a suitable destination!. Other options are Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, Tobago, Jamaica, Phuket, Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Langkawi, Sabah, Bali, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Orlando etc
We will assist with all the organisation between you and the wedding coordinator in resort, we can arrange the flowers, cake, dvd of the ceremony and the day, wedding cars or horse and carriage. We can also book the meal after the ceremony, often obtaining the menus to chose from. If you prefer the terrace overlooking the sea which provides a perfect end to a perfect day.
For your guests who wish to accompany you to witness your wedding we can book them in either the same hotel as the bride and groom, or ensure that they are in nearby hotels or self catering apartments (depending on their requirements).
The legal side can look daunting but we will guide you through this advising what documentation you require i.e. affidavits, certificate of no impediment, decree absolute etc
Weddings abroad are becoming very popular so book early to ensure you get the date and venue you have chosen
