POLICE at Warrington are investigating after a car was set alight by arsonists.
The vehicle was found ablaze in Butler Court, off Wilderspool Causeway yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Nearby residents raised the alarm, but the car was completely destroyed before fire crews could reach the scene.
A Fire Service spokesman said there was clear evidence the fire had been started deliberately.
